Is anybody using ANSI C or C++ on a Multimax?

We are running C++ Release 1.2 on two Encore Multimax systems (UMAX 4.3 BSD).
My efforts to install C++ Release 2.0 have not been successful. I did not
receive any replies to my earlier note regarding C++ Release 2.0. I, too,
would like to know if anyone has successfully ported C++ Release 2.0 onto
an Encore Multimax running UMAX 4.3 BSD.

We would like an ANSI C compiler too.

Encore analysts have provided helpful replies to this newsgroup in the past.
I am interested if Encore has plans to develop and/or market these products.

What is wrong with gcc? We use it as our ANSI C compiler and are quite
happy with it. It has bugs, but they haven't bothered us significantly to
date.
