Hey, anyone out there remember the good old Gould NP1? We have a couple of dual processor systems here at Bath in the UK and have been particulary concerned about ongoing support in the wake of the Encore takeover. Instead of sitting back and complaining I got together a simple questionnaire and sent it out to 16 site in Europe. I asked how they rated Encore's hardware and software support (excellent - above average - average - below average - poor) and what three things they'd like fixed. All but 2 sites replied and the issues were taken up with Perry Talley, George Teixeira etc at The International User Group meeting held in June at The Hague. If you have an NP1 and weren't involved in the earlier survey and are concerned about support I would welcome your input. I can also let you have a Postscript copy of the summary of the results of the European NP1 Survey.
