Since we have had substantial ongoing problems with OS crashes on our Multimax (Umax 4.3 (R4.1.0) 4 XPCs, 64 Meg, NFS, EMC and MSC), and since we assume 4.3 will not be strongly supported far into the future, we would like to ask large user sites about their experience with Mach or OSF: Especially: 1) Customer Service - knowledgable, good response time? 2) How stable is OS on a heavily used system (150 users with NFS)? 3) O.S. Updates - how often, and are reported bugs fixed? 4) Tools & compilers - how well maintained? What is supported on Mach/OSF (besides Parasight) that isn't on 4.3?
