Does anyone know of Relational DBMS products, apart from ORACLE (which is known to run under UMAX V), for Encore's UMAX V or or UMAX BSD environment. Any vendors who offer good educational prices are most welcome to respond (via e-mail preferably). Sadly ORACLE and INGRES were not very responsive, when approached. Daryl D'Souza

Encore has strategic relations with ORACLE and Ingres and has ported their latest database to the Multimax under UMAX V. Both these ports have been enhanced to get maximum performance out of Encore's Symmetric multiprocessor hardware and software archtecture.
