The patch doesn't stop the real problem, which is that ucbMail should probably not copy the senders domain to recipient addresses. The problem is not directly related to encore - it is in the Berkeley sources. BUT - I reported this to encore more than 6 months ago, and I believe I sent a patch at that time. I reported the problem on January 30, 1990, while we were Beta testing Umax 4.3 (our reference number 0055, for version Umaxnfs 4.3 (B4_0.23)). I sent Encore the patch (from paul@uxc.cso.uiuc.edu (Paul Pomes - UofIllinois CSO)) on July 12, 1990.
