[net.micro] Need info on retrieving computer data from FM subcarrier

I'm posting this for a friend -- he'd like to know how to get the
data which is being broadcast off various FM subcarriers onto a
computer, i.e. specifically, what pieces of equipment are needed. 
Since I do not normally read this group, I would appreciate it if
responses were mailed to me -- I will summarize and post the
answers if there is enough response.
