Re: 3L Modifications to afserver.exe The versions of the afserver shipped with all 3L products up till now are _functionally_ identical to the Inmos ones with the same Inmos version numbers. The version of the afserver quoted in Ben Abbott's query is the one provided with Parallel C. It is identical to the Inmos V1.3 afserver except that it loads programs about twice as fast and doesn't say "booting root transputer..." when you run a program. The sources of the afserver we ship are available to our customers. Although the afserver is an Inmos copyrighted program, they are obviously not keen to stand in the way of anyone who wants to modify it for special applications, and we have a specific copyright waiver from them for this purpose. -- Ian Young, 3L Ltd
