I have further information about the demise (possible) of Niche technology which some correspondent was asking about. Yesterday, I heard the news that NT had ceased trading at the beginning of the week. As we are (would be, might [or whatever the correct tense is]) getting a Niche development kit installed this week, I made a few phone calls. Niche are not answering the phone at all. Their Admin number is now in use by some other company and has been for several months. Our order was actually placed with Transtech, of High Wycombe. They confirmed NT's cash-flow problems and let slip that Transtech's MD was in Bristol yesterday morning. I get very suggestive rumours that Transtech are seriously interested in taking over Niche's operations in this country at least. Hope this is useful. Paul
