[comp.sys.transputer] U.S. Suppliers of TRAM boards

nigel@modcomp.UUCP (Nigel Gamble) (01/16/89)

Can anyone send me details of U.S. suppliers of TRAM transputer modules,
particularly companies that can supply TRAM motherboards in the form of
PC expansion cards. Does anyone know whether Transtech (a U.K. company
that makes such boards) has a U.S. distributor?

nigel@modcomp.uucp asks
"Who can supply a list of U.S. suppliers of TRAM boards....."

There is a document called "The Transputer White Pages", published
by INMOS and available (free I think) from INMOS and its distributors
in the U.S. This publication ought to list all transputer board
suppliers in the world, including TRAM and TRAM motherboard suppliers.
There is a new edition of the White Pages out now so you should ensure
that you have an up-to-date edition (the recent edition is on small
paper, the older ones on letter size paper).

The White Pages is usually about two months out of date due to the
printing time but it is intended to hold entries for all products.
If anyone out there makes a product using the transputer (including
software which has its own list) and is not in the White Pages then
they should call INMOS for an application form.

This is not to be regarded as INMOS customer support.
