First New Zealand Transputer Users' Group Conference The first conference of the New Zealand Transputer Users' Group will be held at the University of Waikato on May 23rd and 24th, 1989. The conference will be preceded by a half-day workshop on transputer applications. Contributions to the conference are invited in four forms: 1) Orally presented papers of about 20 minutes duration, covering all aspects of the theory and practice of transputer systems, and parallel and distributed computing. 2) Short (10 minute) descriptions of projects in progress or planned. 3) Poster papers 4) Equipment and software demonstrations. Contributions should be sent immediately to the Conference Organisor, from whom details of conference and workshop registration are available.
