Sorry to have to post this here -- I am having trouble reaching some people who requested a copy of Colin Plumb's little introduction to the transputer's intruction set way back in January and February. A lot of international e-mail seems to go AWOL without trace (no bounce-back, nothing). This morning, I re-sent to a few sites that appear not to have received it. If you haven't got yours yet, wait a few days then e-mail me or one of the alternatives below (with an address that works!). There are three sources that I know of for Colin's intro: 1 In Australia/Oceania -- me (see the signature); 2 In Europe -- Klaus Kusche (k312240@aearn.BITNET); 3 In the USA -- Colin Plumb (uunet!microsoft!w-colinp). Pick the one nearest you, PLEASE! I've said this before, but I'd like to remind you that Prentice Hall have published the definitive volume on the transputer instruction set: INMOS Transputer Instruction Set -- A compiler writer's guide. ISBN 0-13-929100-8 (pbk only). It's a little pricey, but the market for the book IS small. And you need an assembler to play, of course. -- bl ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Benjamin Y H Lian ACSnet: ben@tasis.utas.oz Dept. of EE & CS ARPA : ben%tasis.utas.oz.au@uunet.uu.net University of Tasmania BITnet: munnari!tasis.utas.oz!ben@ GPO Box 252C uunet.uu.net (I think) Hobart, Tasmania 7001 UUCP : {enea, hplabs, mcvax, uunet, ukc}!
