Hello,
we intend to port the TDS D700D from INMOS to a VMEBUS host (SUN4 or IRIS4D).
To do so we have to adapt the server (C-server rather than server14 or
afserver) that runs on such a host computer.

A brief look in the sources (provided by INMOS) showed that this is not
straight forward, as they are made for a PC. Therefore, to avoid double work, I
ask the net wether there is somebody out there, who has already ported the
TDS-server to a VME-host. If yes, I would be very glad if this 'someone' would
contact me on bitnet:heller@dgatum5p for exchange of ideas or (modified)
C-server-sources.

Thanks in advance Helmut.

Porting development tools to VMEbus systems:-

Unless you have a desire to stick to the TDS or afserver, you should
look at the new Iserver. This is *much* easier to port (and was written
with porting in mind). For more information contact your INMOS sales
rep or FAE.
