[comp.sys.transputer] reset transputer network

ronbo@nikhefk.UUCP (Ronald Boontje) (03/21/89)

In order to load a transputer-network one has to reset the network before
it can be loaded. The reset mechanism of Parsytec boards is performed
via the link, each transputer individually has to be resetted before it
can be booted.

Under the transputer development system (MEGATOOL eg.) the loader takes
care of resetting the next transputer before loading it.
However we want to boot a network also from the host, hence we
need a worm, which distributes itself through a transputernetwork, and
finally leaving each transputer in a reset state behind.

Ofcourse before the worm can load itself to a next transputer it has to
reset the concerned transputer first.

Who can help us with a worm, which distributes itself through a
transputernetwork build with Parsytec transputer-boards, with the aim of
finally leaving the transputernetwork in the reset-state.
