Note that follow-ups are going to comp.arch. I am interested in finding out the technical specs of as many existing distributed memory multiprocessors as possible. In particular, I'm interested in such things as speed of nodes, number of nodes, speed and type of interconnect, broadcast/multicast support, memory hierarchy design (size, speed, caching strategy, etc.), cost, and so on. I am interested in either the information itself or pointers to articles that contain the information and that I can make a copy of (the latter is probably more useful). Some examples of the machines I know fall in this class are NCube, ES-1, and Amatek. Pointers to specs on these would be very useful. Please *mail* responses to me, I will post a summary to all three newsgroups (unless it becomes obvious that the summary should be limited to one or two of the newsgroups).
