[comp.sys.transputer] Workshop on Compiling Techniques

The BCS PPSG is organising a workop at Keble College Oxford 13-15th Sept:

"Workshop on Compiling techniques and Compiler Contructs for Parallel
Processing."


The program will contain several in-depth reviews of recent research
and production compiling systems from Europe, Japan, and USA emphasising
representation and transformation of programs, software engineering aspects
of parallel compilers, and run-time environments for language support on
parallel machines.

Speakers Include: Fran Allen (IBM Yorktown Heights), Wim Bohm (Univ.
Manchester), Ian Currie (RSRE, Malvern), M. Dehbonei (Bull Research), Prof J
Fitch (Univ. Bath), Peter Flanders (AMT), M.Gerndt (Univ. Bonn), David Padua
(Univ. Illinois), S. Peyton-Jones (UCL London), H. Wada (Fujisu), Prof H. Zima
(Univ. Vienna)
