[comp.sys.transputer] SCSI Cards for Transputers

 Subject: SCSI cards for Transputers
Does anybody know SCSI I/F cards that could be connected to Transputers
at a resonable speed (I have an application that needs to write transputer
data on disk at 1 Mbyte/s average speed).

 Thanks in advance.

Parsytec has a transputer card which interfaces to the SCSI bus.
I believe it uses a 68000 to do most of the work, so you still
have a T8 around for other stuff. Given the dismal SCSI
bandwitdh it performs very well, and at least your could have
multiple cards accessing multiple disks. There is also a driver
for Helios which implements a very fast file system, suggesting
the potential for real-time databasing.
