I would like to get the source code for Software Tools in Pascal in machine readable or downloadable form. I am especially interested in a Turbo-Pascal implementation of the primatives. Does this exist and, if so, where can I obtain it? Thanks, Jim Potter jp @lanl.arpa

I too would like to obtain the Pascal source for the software tools. Perhaps they could be posted to the net? Jim: You asked a question I have been wanting to ask. There was a group selling it semi-commercially (p-system oriented I think) 3-4 years ago. If you get no leads, let me know and I will start climbing through old issues of Byte, etc. If you find them, I'll be glad to help down/up load them to SIMTEL20. Please let me know what you find out. Tom. ps. You might repost the message to info-pascal@brl.

I think you can get them in machine readable form directly from the publisher of the book.

Thanks. Apparently these were posted to mod.sources some months ago and I wasn't looking then. A kind fellow at U of I e-mailed them to me earlier this week. They are set up for VAX /VMS operating system and will take some modifications. But, fortunately Turbo Pascal has pretty good I/O routines so the primitives will be pretty straight forward. I was hoping, however, that someone had already done that chore. If I get it going I guess I can be the one to post the Turbo primitives. Jim Potter jp@lanl.arpa
