[comp.sys.transputer] Washington, DC Local Transputer Users Group

davis@RADAR.NRL.NAVY.MIL (Jennifer Davis) (11/15/89)

An invitation!

To join the first local transputer users group in America.

Anyone in the Washington, DC area (which includes, but is not limited to,
Maryland and Virginia) who would be interested in joining
may contact either of the following:

Andrew Veronis (Professor at University of Maryland, Eastern Shore)
301-269-1974

or

Jennifer Davis (Computer Scientist at Naval Research Lab, DC)
davis@radar.NRL.NAVY.MIL

Our first meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the INMOS
Regional Transputer Center in Columbia, Maryland (contact either of the
above or Craig Taylor, INMOS, 301-995-6952 for directions). All who
are interested in helping shape the group's direction and decide
logistical details are encouraged to attend.

To those outside the DC area: take note! Local groups may be the way
to generate more frequent communication amongst us transputer junkies,
to share research results and to meet more than twice a year at NATUG
and WOTUG (World Organization Transputer Users Group, the new
international group whose meetings will be held in the spring)
meetings. We will be happy to share our experiences with anyone
interested!
