I'm faced with producing a moderately large piece of software in Occam to run on a Transputer. I'd like to use a Sun based development system - that's what I'm used to. However I'll eventually have to run the software on an MSDOS PC. I'm interested in the relative merits and possible compatibility problems of the Transputer Development Toolkit (TDT) running on a Sun, and the Transputer Development System (TDS) running on an MSDOS PC. I'd like to hear from anybody with experience of the quirks of either TDT or TDS, and especially from people having used both systems. Naturally I'll summarize my results for the net.
