I have a question about the C011. I'm using it in Mode 2. I want to monitor the DataPresent flag in the Input status register. If notCS is asserted and the flag is cleared, will it become set when data is ready to be read from the link or does the data need to be ready before notCS is asserted for the DataPresent flag to be set? This isn't obvious to me from reading the databook. I can test it but was hoping someone in the know might save me the time. And yes, I'm aware of the InputInt output.
