[comp.sys.transputer] Low cost Sun based parallel systems??

Are there any relatively low cost parallel systems for a Sun based
network? I know about the transputer based systems from Paracom, which
are reasonably low cost. On the other hand the Intel hypercubes are
quite steep in cost. Our inital budget is <$40K and that buys almost
two nodes from Intel.

Any advise on Paracom, or other alternatives would be appreciated.
