Hello to all members of the transputer list, Is there anybody, who occuppies with the portation and parallelisation of the large GEANT-Program (develloped at CERN/Geneve) on transputers ? I am very much interested in getting this program, because it is needed for an very important project at our institute. So, if you know, please answer the following questions : - How far are your results in the parallelisation of GEANT ? - What were the main proplems in the portation of GEANT to Transputer - Fortran ? - Is it only a single- or multi-transputer version ? - What is the minimum amount of RAM needed for running GEANT on transputers ? - Wich compiler version do you use ? We are using 3L Parallel Fortran 2.0. It would be a great help, if anyone could put the actual version at my disposal. I look forward to receiving your answer and support as soon as possible. Many thanks, Kind regards, Markus Bohn Institut f. Kernphysik BITNET-Adress : Universitaet Mainz 6500 Mainz BOHN@DMZNAT51 W. Germany

At a recent TP-workshop at CERN, a JM Thenard of LAPP gave a talk about GEANT on TP's. They even have published a paper about it: A Multi-transputer environment for GEANT3. J.F.Badize et al. LAPP, 74941 Annecy-le-Vieux, France. Sorry, no e-mail address. Henk Uijterwaal.
