[comp.sys.transputer] Parsytec

PVR%bgerug51.earn@NSS.CS.UCL.AC.UK (Patrick Van Renterghem / Transputer Lab) (11/29/88)

I received no decent answers to my "Parsytec incompatibility questions".
Just to remind you, my first question was about the library format and
what Inmos exactly changed (e.g. headers). The second question was about
the debugger, but takes larger proportions than that. As Parsytec does not
use the same reset scheme and no analyse at all, the debugger, 3L Parallel
C compiler, ... can not reset/analyse the transputers in a network of
Parsytec boards. Are we condemned to wait for a new release from Parsytec,
or is there a solution. If you have one, would you be so kind to let me know?

Has anyone good/bad experiences with Microway Quadputer/T800 ?

I have a question for anybody from Parystec or anybody who knows
something about Parsytec hardware/software.

Does the Parsytec Unix device driver support concurrent access
by more than one process? Some transputer link device drivers
do but most do not.
