Dear Occamists,
Having read the recent blurb on the forthcoming tds3 I though I should add a
small contribution. We obtained a copy of the Ocpro editor enhancer from the
NTSC about two years ago. We have found this a very useful addition to our
development enviroment for the following reasons :
* Highlighted folds and keywords (colour settings available). This is
tremendously helpful in visualising the structure of your code.
* Macros. The user can define macro for all the alphabetic characters.
* Vertical cursor. This enables the user to check indentation.
* Mouse support. This allows the user to quickly traverse a fold
structure.
* Cursor Speed up. A substantial speed up is obtained for the cursor, the
standard speed being painfully slow.
* Other features, the above being the most useful.
* Cost - the cost of a floppy.
Perhaps these features are integrated into the new TDS3. If not I hope Ocpro
will still work with it.
I wonder who else, apart from some Navy people, are using Ocpro ?
