We recently received Occam 2 toolset with T800 boards from Inmos for the IBM PC AT. In the manual for Occam it is mentioned that we require a UNIX compatible MAKE Program as a prerequisite. MIcrosoft MAKE is not compatible. Does any one know where can one get MAKE for IBM PC compatible with Unix? IS it public domain? Are there any ftp sites for it? Thanks a lot. ------- ********************************************************* * PRASHANT V. Yes! there even exist several UNIX compabible MAKE utilities for MSDOS. I tried several of them and came to the conclusion that ABMAKE offered all the features I needed *). ABMAKE is available from SIMTEL20 (and its ftp mirror size) and is posted to the MSDOS.SYSUTL directory. Be aware when using it with alian languages like 3L Parallel Pascal. Due to a shortage of file handlers in MS-DOS you should replace the PASCAL=T8P command with: PASCAL=afserver -:o 1 -:b tp.b4 Feel free to contact me when you can't get in touch with the SIMTEL20 server, so I might e-mail you the sources.
