[comp.sys.transputer] Occam 3

mwebster@daisy.ee.und.ac.za (Mitchell R Webster) (11/27/90)

Fellow Occam users,

What is happening to our precious Occam? Geoff Barrett launched many
bombshells with regards to proposed extensions to our "simple" parallel
language. I would have thought that the network would have come alive with
obections or appraisals. To INMOS : When can we expect some decent
documentation about the new Occam?

How does everbody else feel? Lets get some debate going.

For example : Are the proposed extensions only really designed for the H1 or
can the new Occam be used effectively on our current T series ?
