We are currently attempting to use the Inmos B008 IBM PC toolset for a transputer system on a Sun 386i. We own the Imos Sun 386i device driver and iserver software (but not the sun toolset) and have installed the device as a loadable module rather than a kernel modification. We have run dos to unix on the text files. Use of the i-server suppiled by Inmos for the sun386i sometimes reports protocol errors when used, for example when we download the compiler occam.b4h to compile programs. Some programs compile but others give either a "packet size to large" or "not enough bytes" (generally 2!) error. Programs that compile seem to work ok. Has any one else had these problems and/or perhaps knows a fix??? Also, does anyone have an "afserver" for the Sun 386i that will allow us to use the 3L PC C on our sun 386i.
