[comp.sys.transputer] Subsystem error input

coert@dnlunx.pttrnl.nl (Coert J. Vonk) (12/11/90)

This may sound weird to your but "I can't get an error message."

We use a transputer farm, of which all modules are compiled in Halt mode.
The configurer is told to support this mode, and even the iserver is
aborts on an error signal.

The main point is that the root transputer doesn't seem to care about his
subsystem error input. An error on the root transputer terminates the iserver
(as expected), but an error on every other transputer does not. Although this
signal arrives at the root transputer's subsystem NotError input (probed this).

When I tried a configuration that used the ErrorDown instead of the subsystem
that performed as expected. I can't use this configuration because MMS2
doesn't support it.

Did anyone cope with simular problems, or can you give me a hint?

ThanX in advance! Coert.

BTW: we use D705B (Toolset) and 3L Pascal v2.0.
