I posted this message earlier and have found that I neglected to mention that I am running on a network of Sun 3 workstations. Sorry.... We have recently purchased a Transtech system (4 MCP1000 boards, 64 T800's, plus some other goodies). I have been unsuccessful in getting the TDS debugger to work as I am use to when using a PC with a B008. For example, in trying to run the debugger example provided with the system (the examples described in the INMOS TDS manual - overflow problem), the example does not abort, it simply hangs. When I interrupt TDS and take a core dump etc., the correct location of the error is indicated but the values of the relevant variables are zero and not what is expected. In addition, for problems in which I know/expect deadlock, the processes when interrupted show invalid workspaces and channel information is not available. Has anyone else experienced these kinds of problems? Have you found a fix? (I would be glad to provide example code, if anyone wants it.) Thank you.
