Transtech Parallel Systems Corp. of Ithaca, NY, currently has a vacancy for an Applications/Support Engineer to be based in their Ithaca office. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer to get involved with a leading developer of parallel processing systems. The engineer will become involved in a number of technical areas including: 1. Hardware products for Sun, Silicon Graphics, and PCs 2. The Genesys Operating System for transputers and i860 processors 3. Cross-Compilers and Optimization Tools 4. Software Development Tools The responsibilities of this position will include: 1. Pre and Post Sales Technical Support 2. System Installation and Commissioning 3. Liaison with Hardware and Software Development Teams The succesful candidate will have both Unix and DOS experience with knowledge of C and FORTRAN and will preferrably have had some involvement with Parallel Processing Systems.
