Hi, I am in the market for a new computer, and I am looking into various PC Compatibles, and Clones. I have not had much experience with any of these, so I am turning to you, my fellow netters, to solicit your opinions, experiences and just general thoughts on any/all of the compatibles available out there. Price is not a great consideration. I am looking for a reliable machine, that performs well. Any help you could give me will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance. They specialize in IBM compatibility, but with better performance. If you want a PC-compatible, get their DeskPro -- which will operate at PC speed or significantly faster (changed on the fly by Ctrl-Alt-\). If you lean more toward an AT-type machine, get their DeskPro 286 or Portable 286. I have no relationship with Compaq except as a satisfied customer. {hplabs,amdahl,3comvax}!bnrmtv!perkins --Henry Perkins
