[comp.sys.transputer] How many Ts without external memory ...

MIKEM@venus.crl.bhp.com.au ("MIKE MOORE, BHP RESEARCH NEWCASTLE LABORATORIES") (03/15/91)

In reply to Kenneth W Koontz's question relating to systems of external-memory-
less transputers, the largest such system of which I am aware is one consisting
of 1260 T212s that lives at Transputer Technology Solutions in Southampton,
England. This machine, the so called B001260 is constructed from 30 Inmos B0042
boards, each consisting of 42 T212s and not much else. The machine has been
used by James Allwright and others for doing things like searching for
minimum diameter graphs.

Cheers,
Mike.
