Hi, Jeffrey Mock of Pixar wrote a paper called: "Processes, Channels and Semaphores (Version 2)". I have a copy of this paper, but no info. about when, where or by whom it was published. I would like to include a reference to it into my thesis, and would appreciate any information about the publication. Thanx in advance, --- Ercument Canver e-mail: canver@math.sdsu.edu ercu@ucselx.sdsu.edu

Id be delighted to be proved wrong, but I dont think that this paper
was ever published. Depending on what you want to refer to, you
might be able to use the INMOS C toolset documentation for similar
purposes...

The Jeff Mock paper was given at a very early transputer user group meeting prior to the formal organization of NATUG. If you want to quote a publication you can quote Logical Systems C User Manu, ver 89.1, (C) Mar 1990. The Mock paper has been included with the Logical Systems Documentation since the concurrency library was added to the compiler in early 1988. Best Regards Lyle Bingham CSA
