An opportunity currently exists for an individual with a strong analytical and software development background to implement advanced sonar signal processing algorithms on a distributed, MIMD parallel processing system. Previous experience in developing algorithms on parallel processors is highly desirable. The individuall will be joining a team of engineers and scientists who conduct research and develop systems in the areas of seismology, radar, neural networks, computer vision, and knowledge based systems. Successful candidates will hold a B.S/M.S. in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Math and have 1-5 years experience in advanced software development using C/Unix. Experience in X windows a plus. It is intended that the successful applicant begin working on or about April 15, 1991.
