Hello netters,
We are now doing a project about the designing and developing routers and
a parallel compiler on Transputer. Technical troubles are really a problem
in addition to the theoretical. This project has just been initiated, and
we dont have much experience of the occam programming and transputer network
dynamic reconfiguratrions. So, we are open to all suggestions and opinions
especially on the following problems we are facing at present:
1. Are there good tools to code and debug the full set occam ? We have just
itools on hand.
2. How to reside a program on a transputer node, and if any event happens
interrupt it ?
3. Any methods to polling the cahnnel I/O ? ALT seems only work with
channel input.
4. In the configuration command ( PLACE .. at ..), can we just specify
process without dealing the links ? For example, just wanna put
several process and have them running distributely, and these process
do nothing about channel I/O ?
We need your help !!! All the kindly assistence will be highly appreciated.
