[comp.sys.transputer] Polling Channel I/O

Hello Netters,

           Does anybody have the experience of polling channel I/O in
  occam on transputers ? Are there occam codes used to meet such goal ?

  seems just available when waiting for channel input, what if I wish to
  send datum to output channel and want to know whether it is successful or
  not ?
