Here are some results from Zafar Choudhry's program:

Ultrix C Compiler
The Expected Results:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
The Calculated Values:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
Done...

GNU C Compiler
The Expected Results:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
The Calculated Values:> free_l[1]=0.000000 and free_l[2]=0.000000
Done...

Borland Turbo C
The Expected Results:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
The Calculated Values:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
Done...

3L's Parallel C on t800
The Expected Results:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
The Calculated Values:> free_l[1]=-0.000001 and free_l[2]=0.000007
Done...

3L's Parallel C on t414
The Expected Results:> free_l[1]=-0.000002 and free_l[2]=0.000007
The Calculated Values:> free_l[1]=-0.000001 and free_l[2]=0.000007
Done...

Some worrying discrepencies here, but I get the same result for t414 and
t800.
