I do not normally read this group, so please forgive the perhaps redundant question. We were given two transputer T-Ram (4 MByte, 20 MHz) modules as a gift, and are interested in interfacing them to our Sun 3s and SparcStations. As such, we probably need a board that can hold 2 to 4 T-Ram modules and can interface to the VMS bus of the Sun 3 and/or the S bus of the Sparcstation (hopefully both buses with the same board, but that's a bit doubtful :)). The board needs to be able to generate interrupts to the Sun3/SPARC processor and hopefully has some hack that allows the Sun3/SPARC processor to "interrupt" the transputers (I believe the transputer has no interrupts, but maybe it could be polling an "interrupt" line). Are such boards commercially available? Where can they be obtained? What kind of cost are we looking at? Please send all correspondence directly to me, as down here in Chile we get net news about 2 months old ... it comes down on tape. Thanks for any help, Chris Perleberg pchris@dcc.uchile.CL uunet!uchdcc!pchris
