University of Aberdeen: Department of Engineering ================================================= Research Fellow/Assistant: Transputers and DSP =============================================== The Engineering Physics Group seeks a Research Fellow or Assistant to work with Dr Allen and Professor Player on the development of a fast concurrent instrumentation system for ultrasonic signal processing. This SERC funded project will extend the work already done on applying parallel technology to nonlinear signal processing. The successful applicant will have a PhD (RF) or possibly a first degree (RA) in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Computing Science or related discipline. Experience with hardware design, transputers, and AI techniques would be valuable. The post is funded for three years, starting date negotiable.
