I have a friend who ordered one of these modems. He has finally received it after over a months wait. The company was nice enough to give him a $20 discount after they told him it would be late. The modem seems to be a very close copy of the Hayes, case and all. It does work, and all the software commands are implemented. The "easy-kit" version of the modem assembles in five minutes. By the way, even though Concord Tech. is in Vancouver, BC, the modem was shipped from Washington state. Either saving postage or avoiding the US Customs... take your pick. Perhaps the lesson is not to pay cash in cases of mail order. Gary
