[comp.editors] Wanted: PD dictionary

vanden@studsys.mu.edu (vandenberg) (11/16/88)

Hi all, this is being posted for a friend who doesn't have access
to the news.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

I am looking for a public domain dictionary to use with a spell
checking program I am writing. No minimum number of words
necessary but at least over 10,000. I don't mind decrypting
the file if you have the encryption scheme. Please send reply
to 3578KACZ@MUCSD.BITNET or 3578KACZ%MUCSD.BITNET@CUNYVM.CUNY.NET
                                                  \RELAY.CS.NET
                                                   \TALCOTT
Please do not send the dictionary file as it may be better
for me to send a disk/tape. Or if someone knows of a dictionary
file that is in archives somewhere any leads would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Dan Kaczynski
