[comp.editors] LaTeX -> good ole nroff?

Alas, some LaTeX files have to be translated to nroff. Would it be the
case that someone has written some translating functions, perhaps, say,
in emacslisp? Even something that merely translates italics from the one
to the other would be helpful, lest I have to do this myself.
