Okay guys, here's the problem: I call my UNIX account over the modem and I have lots of trouble using vi (as you might be able to tell from this message, I also am having trouble with ex). It indents wierd and sometimes it's in escape mode and sometimes in text-entry mode and a whole mess of wierd stuff.

Before you tell me to adjust my terminal emulation, I've done that. IMy comm program supports VT-52 and VT-102. This UNIX system supports VT-52, so I tried using that, and stuff still went screwy!

What I want to know is:
1) What are some of the better editors out there (preferably one with word-wrap, since MS-DOS has spoiled me)
2) Where can I ftp it from?

If I don't find something soon, I'll have to get the source for a bare-bones MS-DOS editor and port it to UNIX. Yech!
Thanks in advance, -Bryan
