[net.micro] Chairman of the Board

mo@seismo.CSS.GOV (Mike O'Dell) (10/31/85)

Whatever Mr. Jobs may or may not have been doing to earn his paycheck
matters not one iota as long as he holds the title Chairman of the Board.
That makes him the SENIOR officer of the company, and any court would
take only a few nanoseconds to hold that the case. If he did ANYTHING
which could be remotely construed as adversely impacting Apple while
he held that title, any single stockholder can nail his hide to the
wall, right along with the hides of the other board members if the board
did not act to vigorously protect the Company from those actions.
