I am using MicroEMACS on three different systems, a MS-DOS PC, a Unix Sun 4, and a VMS VAX. On the PC I have a configuration file by the name of EMACS.RC, and on the Unix system I have .emacsrc, and they work just fine. My problem is what the file name should be for the VMS. I have tried EMACS.RC and EMACSRC. but neither is called. Alternatively, how can I point to a configuration file in calling MicroEMACS? ................................................................... It is to assign the emacs_dir variable to point to one's home directory, where the emacs.rc configuration file is. ...................................................................
