    Is there a VMS version of ELVIS planned?  I guess that about covers it.

Yes.  People are also working on ports to the Mac and Amiga.  The complete
portability list for Elvis 1.5, then, is expected to be:

	BSD UNIX	\
	SysV UNIX	 \
	Minix (PC & 68k)  \
	Coherent	   >  These are already supported in 1.4
	OS-9/68k	  /
	Atari TOS	 /
	MS-DOS		/
	MacOS		\
	AmigaDOS	 > These are expected in 1.5  (March,'91 maybe?)
	VMS		/
