[comp.editors] Need help installing Crisp1.9

dag@fciva.FRANKLIN.COM (Daniel A. Graifer) (12/28/90)

I am attempting to install crisp 1.9 (from uunet copy of comp.sources.misc
archives on a Prime EXL325. This is a 386 MultiBusII machine running a port
of AT&T SysV 3.1 with many 3.2 enhancements.

The program compiles OK, and I compiled the macro sources. I used infocmp to
produce termcap files from our terminfo library for vt100, wy60 and wy50. It
seem to work, except that it ignores all escape codes such as cursor keys.
These are inserted into the edit text, prompt, buffer, whatever as key
sequences instead. (I tried wy50 with my wyse60 set wy50+ mode because
crisp comes with a wy50 keyboard macro file.)

When I installed I specified Interactive System V 3.x. I'm guessing crisp's
ioctl calls to get raw mode are failing. Any ideas/canned fixes?

Thanks in advance,
Dan
