[comp.editors] indicating selected text by highlighting

I think it would be better to invent a new mark (probably . because its
beside m). When this mark exists the text between the mark and the cursor
is highlighted. That allows all the operators to work without any
changes. Since vi puts operator before operand, I don;t think it would be
a good idea to change this around for some cases and leave it for
others. Also a seperate v and V are not needed since ' and ` already use
line and character context.
