Daily, I receive mail enthusiastically calling for a vegetarian group. net.cooks is NOT an appropriate forum for this topic. If you read my last posting to net.news.group, net.cooks, and net.misc, I think you'll see why. net.vegetarian in NOT just about recipes!!! To all those that have responded to me by mail, please mail a vote to net.news.group so we can get the ball rolling. I don't think mailing messages of support to me, personally, helps (although I do enjoy receiving them :-)). -- Jonathan G. Bressel @ MITRE Corporation linus!jgb jgb@MITRE-BEDFORD.ARPA

Count this a vote for a net.veggie group.

I beg to differ. net.cooks is not just for recipes -- it is for 'Food, cooking, cookbooks, and recipes.' The food is the key. I think net.cooks.veg belongs there.

What's the world coming to if net.motss isn't about sex, and net.vegetarian isn't about recipes? {philabs,cmcl2!rocky2}!cubsvax!peters (Peter S Shenkin; Dept of Biol Sci; Columbia Univ; NY, NY 10027; 212-280-5517)

I agree, we need net.veggie. The readres of net.cooks spend to much time talking about "aluminum & alzheimers" (sp?) disease. Net.veggie would be an ideal group for healthful minded individuals to share ideas, recipes and dietary philosophy. Greg Muth (..!tektronix!gam)
