I am looking for a XEDIT look-a-like editor for UNIX land. Someone had suggested looking at uunet.uu.net, but I have not been able to find it. Does anyone have a copy or know where I can get the source? XEDIT is the editor for IBM mainframes, it also looks similar to KEDIT. So if anyone knows about where I can get it or has a copy, please let me know... -- Ack! esh101@psuvm.psu.edu ESH101@PSUVM Of course these ideas are mine... hvozda@endor.cs.psu.edu DoD #0217

I just spoke to Mansfield Software about porting KEDIT to UNIX, but Kevin feels the demand is stronger for him to work on a Win3 version, so it's still in the "maybe, someday" list. Emacs is supposed to be able to do everything... maybe some emacs disciple could whip out a set of macros to emulate XEDIT? -Dion -- Dion L.
